Yorktown Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

The cost is FREE to members

Lunch is served at 12:00pm. The end time is approximately 1:15pm

About Ted Ward:

Ted Ward brings more than 25 years of organizational leadership experience to Achieve Onward. Ted has a passion for serving as a change agent with groups needing to pivot toward new strategies and practices. Having a lifelong spirit of entrepreneurship, he has enjoyed numerous ventures, including some time with ComedySportz Indianapolis (Team-Based Improvisational Performance/Comedy) – where he discovered parallels to many of the team-building, customer service, leadership, and professional development practices/philosophies he had developed and shaped throughout his professional career, public service, and not-for-profit work. In addition to the guiding principles of improvisational performing, Ted is passionate about adult learning principles and aspects. These combined attributes continue to inform and guide Achieve Onward’s coaching, training, development, and consultant work with individuals and organizations.

Ted has served in a variety of industries including retail, manufacturing, hospitality, entertainment, publishing, governmental, education, and not-for-profit to name a few. Beyond his work through Achieve Onward, he serves the higher education field as an executive administrator, adjunct faculty member, and professional association board member.

About Michelle Morrison:

Michelle Morrison is the Director of Academic Initiatives and Student Strategies in the Division of Online and Strategic Learning at Ball State University. After completing her undergraduate and graduate studies at Marshall University, Michelle has more than 20 years of professional experience, working with diverse populations in multiple settings to include non-profit, community-based, state and federal governments, and higher education.

Michelle’s strongest passions are developing and nurturing strong relationships, both professionally and personally, and supporting the growth of those around her. In her spare time, Michelle can be found supporting local community organizations that provide mentoring and those that work to address food and housing insecurities. Michelle is a certified academic life coach.
