Yorktown Civic Green concert band this week will be Indy Annies at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20. Your favorite babes in country music, Indy Annies features some of Indiana’s top female talent with sweet harmonies and classic country pickin’.

Food trucks will be Maucky’s and Three Bears Concessions with Mr. Mouse pouring beverages. Plan your evening dinner with your neighbors on the green starting at 5:30 p.m. Maucky’s is known for nachos, Southwest wraps, BBQ wraps, and pretzel bites.

Civic Green concert sponsors have made the 10 different concerts this season a reality for the Yorktown community. Weekly sponsors “set up tent” to share info about their businesses. Check out our informational booth sponsors.

DeFur Voran, last week’s information booth sponsor, is more than attorneys and business counselors. They are neighbors, who support the community in so many ways. One night they are sponsoring Civic Green Concerts and the next night they are sponsoring Muncie Three Trails Music Series. Their attorneys and staff work on all kinds of projects and boards including Muncie Civic Theatre, Ball Brothers Foundation, Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, Muncie Community Schools Board of Trustees, and many others.

At the DeFur Voran information booth this past week, marketing and communications coordinator Elizabeth A. Bell distributed cold water, chips, pens, bags, pads, and can coolers among other items.

Thanks to all the concert sponsors. Major sponsors are grandstand sponsors KLC Properties and Equipment and LTB Construction Inc., as well as green sponsors Indiana Michigan Power, LifeStream Services, Ball State Athletics, Mr. Mouse, Northwest Bank, Yorktown Chamber of Commerce, and Town of Yorktown.

Also sponsoring the 10-season event are DeFur Voran, RE/MAX Real Estate Groups, EKProp, Muncie Sunrise Rotary, The Oliver, Westminster Village, The Community Foundation of Muncie-Delaware County, Wells Way, Reed's Plumbing, and US Architects.

Yorktown Civic Green is next to the Yorktown Town Hall, 9312 S. Smith St./St Rt 32.
