Driscoll, Boyd Lead Cardinals on Day One of Falcon Florida Classic

Jasmine Driscoll and Madelin Boyd led the Ball State women's golf team on day one of the Falcon Florida Classic on Monday. Driscoll and Boyd are tied for 32nd as the Cardinals are in ninth.

 

Boyd started her day with a 75 (+3). She collected two birdies in the opening round. She followed that up with a round of 75 (+3) with one birdie in the second round. She finished the day tied for 32nd with a 150 (+6).

 

Driscoll recorded an opening round 76 (+4) with a birdie on the par-5 18th. She moved up two spots into a tie for 32nd after a second-round tally of 74 (+2). She has a two-round score of 150 (+6).

 

Kiah Parrott posted a first-round mark of 75 (+3) with a birdie on the par-5 18th. She followed that up with a 76 (+4) with three birdies. She notched four birdies and recorded a two-round tally of 151 (+7). She is tied for 37th.

 

Sarah Gallagher and Peyton Broce are tied for 41st with a two-round mark of 152 (+8). Gallagher opened with a 77 (+5) and posted a second-round score of 75 (+3). She produced four birdies on the day. Broce notched two rounds of 76 (+4) with four birdies.

 

The Cardinals return to the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club for the final round on the Flacon Florida Classic. Ball State will be joined by Akron and Bowling Green. The group with begin to tee off at 10:56 a.m. from the 10th hole. Live results can be found on golfstat.com.
