On Friday, May 23, former Yorktown High School standout Ainsley Phillips collegiate team wins in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 23, former Yorktown High School standout Ainsley Phillips’ current collegiate team the Trine Thunder won 3-1 against the UW - Stevens Point Pointers in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at SportONE - Parkview Softball Field at 1 p.m. and was the second matchup against the UW - Stevens Point Pointers in the tournament.

The Trine Thunder’s next game will take place on Thursday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Inspiration Field.
