On Thursday, May 29, former Yorktown High School standout Ainsley Phillips collegiate team wins in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Thursday, May 29, former Yorktown High School standout Ainsley Phillips’ current collegiate team the Trine Thunder won 8-0 against the Redlands Bulldogs in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Inspiration Field at 6:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Redlands Bulldogs in the tournament.

The Trine Thunder’s next game will take place on Friday, May 30 at 4:15 p.m. at Inspiration Field.
