Rep. Victoria Spartz, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Indiana’s 5th District, recently shared her views on immigration and political tactics through a series of tweets. These tweets provide a perspective on her stance regarding asylum laws and political discourse in the United States.

In a tweet on March 30, 2025, Spartz stated, ".@richietorres took a short excerpt out of context to misrepresent the facts. I am talking about illegal aliens who violated asylum laws. They are not entitled to full due process. Congress provided laws for a limited due process & expedited removals in the case of meritless". Spartz emphasized her belief that individuals who violate asylum laws are not deserving of full due process.

On March 31, 2025, Spartz posted, "See below a full video of Rep. Spartz answering if full due process should be granted for meritless asylum seekers who violated our laws - NO." She reiterated her stance that meritless asylum seekers should not be afforded full due process.

Additionally, in another tweet on March 31, 2025, Spartz discussed her appearance on CNN, noting, "This Sunday, Rep. Spartz appeared on @CNN to discuss her town halls and explain the Democrat playbook to ambush, intimidate and create chaos to advance a false narrative to agitate the people in a feeble attempt to slow down republicans from governing." She accused Democrats of employing tactics to disrupt Republican governance.
