Rep. Victoria Spartz, who represents Indiana’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets highlighting her involvement in commemorating American service and community figures.

On August 21, 2025, Spartz wrote, "Honored to play a small part in recognizing true American hero - Noah Jacob Shahnavaz, who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our Republic, by renaming the Elwood Post Office in his name. May his legacy always serve as a reminder of the enduring cost of freedom."

Later that day, she responded to an earlier post with a brief message: "Indeed!" (August 21, 2025).

On August 23, 2025, Spartz shared a personal encounter from a recent event: "Two weeks ago, during my attendance of the @GunOwners convention in TN, Sam took my hand, looked me in the eyes, and told me with conviction: 'Please never give up. You have a lot of us standing with you.' Sam was a true patriot who loved our country. He will be missed."

Victoria Spartz has represented Indiana’s 5th District since replacing Susan Brooks in 2021 and previously served in the Indiana Senate from 2017 to 2020. Born in Nosivka, Ukraine in 1978 and now residing in Noblesville, Spartz holds a BS from Kyiv National Economic University.
