In a series of tweets, Representative Victoria Spartz expressed her concerns and criticisms about economic policies and fiscal measures. Serving Indiana’s 5th district since 2021, following her stint in the Indiana Senate from 2017 to 2020, Spartz provides a critical perspective on several contemporary issues.

On April 4, 2025, Representative Spartz tweeted about the impact of certain policies and external dependencies on economic growth. According to Spartz, "Higher prices and slower 'real' growth have been caused by the outrageous spending, unreasonable regulations, government-protected oligopolies and schizophrenic energy policies by the Biden administration, as well as serious dependencies of our supply chain on foreign countries" she conveyed.

Subsequently, on April 5, 2025, Spartz criticized legislative fiscal directives, expressing her discontent. She commented on the Senate's budgetary procedures in her tweet, "The budget instructions passed by the Senate are pathetic."

Furthermore, in a tweet on April 7, 2025, Spartz issued a warning directed at her political colleagues regarding tax policies and economic equality. She stated, "If the @SenateGOP is not willing to be serious about our spending situation, these tax cuts will be very temporary leading to a huge tax increase on all Americans, which democrats badly want. They know that’s how you create socialism - elites on top & everyone else equally poor."
