Victoria Spartz discusses congressional updates and honors veteran service

Rep. Victoria Spartz, who represents Indiana’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on her recent activities and acknowledgments through a series of posts on July 25 and 26, 2025.

On July 25, Spartz posted about her appearance on local radio: "ICYMI: Rep. Spartz joined Steve Lindell on @WMUNMuncie to discuss the latest happenings in Congress." (July 25, 2025).

Later that day, she expressed gratitude toward former President Donald Trump and his administration for their efforts regarding health care reform: "I appreciate President Trump @realDonaldTrump and his White House team for their support and determination to deal with some serious fraud and abuse in the health care system that’s bankrupting our nation." (July 25, 2025).

On July 26, Spartz highlighted her participation in a recognition event for a local veteran: "Honored to join the Carmel VFW in recognizing Vietnam veteran and Marine Corporal Dennis Zavada for his continued service as caretaker of Westfield’s Fallen Hoosier Heroes Memorial. Proud to enter his story into the Congressional Record." (July 26, 2025).

Victoria Spartz has served as the representative for Indiana's 5th District since replacing Susan Brooks in 2021. Before joining Congress, she was a member of the Indiana Senate from 2017 to 2020. Born in Nosivka, Ukraine in 1978, Spartz moved to Indiana where she currently resides in Noblesville. She earned her bachelor's degree from Kyiv National Economic University in 2000.
