Victoria Spartz discusses innovation with Indiana leaders on energy and healthcare

Rep. Victoria Spartz, U.S. Congresswoman representing Indiana’s 5th district since 2021, recently highlighted her engagements with local energy and healthcare leaders as well as education innovators in a series of posts on social media.

On August 12, 2025, Spartz shared her meeting with ImpaPower and Gas City Mayor Bill Rock: "Today, Rep. Spartz met with @ImpaPower, providing 60 IN communities with power, and Gas City Mayor Bill Rock to discuss energy generation and affordability. Energy generation is the next frontier of innovation, and Indiana is falling behind."

Later that day, she posted about advancements at Purdue University: "Innovative solutions at Purdue University @LifeAtPurdue, like the Manufacturing Competitiveness Center and Small Modular Reactors, could greatly improve workforce readiness and increase energy production in Indiana — critical for the 21st-century economy."

On August 13, Spartz described visits to St. Vincent Heart Hospital in Carmel and Robosource in Fishers: "Today, Rep. Spartz visited @StVincentIN Heart Hospital in Carmel to discuss challenges and opportunities to improve medical outcomes, and had a great learning session on the opportunities of AI at Robosource in Fishers."

Victoria Spartz has represented Indiana’s 5th District since succeeding Susan Brooks in Congress in 2021. She previously served in the Indiana Senate from 2017 to 2020. Born in Nosivka, Ukraine in 1978 and currently residing in Noblesville, Spartz graduated from Kyiv National Economic University with a bachelor’s degree.
