4.6% of citizens unemployed in Blackford County in 2021

Blackford County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.6% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 235 people out of the 12,139 living in Blackford County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Blackford County has decreased compared to the 6.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Blackford County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.7%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
