Rep. Victoria Spartz, who represents Indiana’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on her recent engagements with local businesses and constituents through a series of posts on August 5 and 6, 2025.
On August 5, Spartz described her visit to Carter Logistics in Anderson, stating: "Informative visit to @CarterLogistics in Anderson, founded in 1957 and now with over 1,700 employees across North America, to discuss industry opportunities and challenges - including the rise in staged accidents and frivolous lawsuits."
Later that day, she highlighted a trip to Haynes International in Kokomo: ".@Haynesintl in Kokomo #IN05 has been producing some of the most advanced alloys for over 100 years, serving innovative industries like aerospace, energy, and defense. Great to learn about the planned significant increases in domestic production capacity."
On August 6, Spartz reported meeting with Delphi retirees regarding retirement benefits affected by the 2009 auto bailout and visiting an assisted living facility: "Today, Rep. Spartz met with Delphi retirees to provide an update on efforts to restore retirement benefits for workers adversely affected by the 2009 auto bailout, and visited an assisted living facility in Kokomo to share updates on strengthening Medicaid for seniors."
Victoria Spartz has served as a member of Congress since replacing Susan Brooks in 2021. She previously held office as a state senator from 2017 to 2020. Born in Nosivka, Ukraine in 1978 and currently residing in Noblesville at age 44, Spartz graduated from Kyiv National Economic University with a bachelor's degree.
